Gramma Crist's Maple Chocolate Chip Cookies

Gramma Crist's Maple Chocolate Chip Cookies:
1 cup maple syrup (only the real kind!)
1 large egg (or 2 small eggs)
1/2 cup butter
Mix well; Add
2 cups sifted flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 bag chocolate chips
Bake at 324 for 15 minutes. Makes 2 doz cookies.

These little star-shaped blue flowers pop up every spring. I first saw them on the front lawn of the lawschool, never the less, I still like them! These are in an empty lot on Magnolia Street.
